Easy to start investing

I'd heard about smallcase from a friend and decided to try the 'Top 100 Stocks' one. It was really easy to get started, just connected my existing brokerage. My investment was made pretty fast. It's been doing well so far, no complaints.

Good for beginners, simple interface

I tried out the 'All Weather Investing' smallcase a few months ago after reading up on it. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, linking my brokerage account took maybe 10 minutes. I liked that they laid out the historical performance and the logic behind the smallcase clearly. My first investment went through without any issues. I did have a question about rebalancing, so I used their customer support email and got a response back in about 24 hours, which was decent. The rebalance notification was easy to follow, just a few clicks to accept the changes. So far, the returns have been in line with what was described, nothing crazy but steady. It's a good way to diversify without picking individual stocks myself.

Hey guys, thinking about trying smallcase. is it like actually safe to put money into? or just another one of those scammy investment apps?

J Julia 2 months ago
Nah, it's legit. SEBI registered, pretty sure. I've been using it for over a year with Zerodha, no issues withdrawing funds or anything.

Yeah, it's not a scam. They're pretty transparent about fees and stuff. I mean, all investments have risks, but the platform itself is solid. My broker (HDFC Securities) integrates with it directly so it feels pretty official.

Any deals right now for new users? I heard something about waving the platform fee or getting some free months. Is that still happening?

Yeah, usually. Check if you can find a referral code, sometimes that gets you a free first transaction. Also, if you use Zerodha or Upstox, they often have specific offers. I got my first month free with an Angel One deal ages ago.

I think they always have some kind of new user offer, like waiving the 100 rupee platform fee for your first buy. Also, if you sign up for a specific managed smallcase, the manager might have a promo code for a few free months on their subscription.
